Euroregión
The encounter of Magalí Milian and Romuald Luydlin, directors of La Zampa, Colectivo Moebius and Nuria Legarda with N Naranja, came about from a desire to be involved in each other’s practice and promote a period of reflection, research, practice, through a nomadic exchange of R&D periods around Europe.
This project crystallised motivations and concerns shared and developed by the three teams born of their professional experiences and concerned research of new forms of expression and new writing processes.
The cultural exchange program “Ecoregional Cultural Initiatives,” designed by the Northwestern Mediterranean regions, provided an ideal framework for the development of this exchange project and the sharing of experiences among companies from the Montpellier/Toulouse/Barcelona axis.
The aim was to create a space and time for exchange where respective affinities could be strengthened. Additionally, the program aimed to challenge certainties and involve young aspiring artists and performers.
Supervised by the AECT Mediterranean Pyrenees, this project received support from the Midi-Pyrenees Region, Catalonia, and Languedoc-Roussillon, enabling the realisation of an initial research laboratory at the CDC in Toulouse, in collaboration with Tournefeuille as part of the “Les Nuits Euphoriques” festival, which was followed by the remaining laboratories in Barcelona with the support of La Caldera, Ca l’Estruc and the Institut Français de Barcelona and in Montpellier with the support of La Ville de Montpellier, Adda Scènes Croisées Mendez.
