Nuria Legarda

European theatre-maker, choreographer and researcher – Nuria Legarda develops an authentic, visceral and distinctive work.

Her work emerges at the intersection of theatre, dance and visual arts. Through a relational dramaturgy of body and image, she creates mesmerising visual poetics that invite the spectator to perceive and understand sensorially.

Her career integrates production, research and teaching within the field of contemporary performing arts.

She leads artistic residencies and devising processes that merge practice, reflection and creative research. A professor at the Institut del Teatre de Barcelona, she is also regularly invited to direct projects at leading performing arts schools across Europe.
